In order for the cartons to be used in a variety of different scenarios, the cartons need to be customized. The custom-made cartons have different sizes and shapes to meet different needs. In the process of carton customization, one step is the printing of barcodes.
One: Classification of barcode printing
As long as the classification of barcode printing involves printing method, printing location and printing equipment, these factors will affect the quality of printing and the final anti-counterfeiting effect.
According to the classification of printing methods, it can be divided into two categories: contact printing and non-contact printing. According to the classification of printing equipment, it can be divided into lithography printing, inkjet printing, thermal induction printing, and printing printing. At present, inkjet printing and printing are the mainstream use. Thermal induction printing is more expensive and less used. According to the different printing locations, it can be divided into two categories: on-site printing and off-site printing.
2: Classification of printing principles
There are roughly four categories of printing principles.
1. Letterpress printing method: This is a method with the lowest printing cost and is mainly used for printing carton sticker labels.
2. Offset printing: The printing efficiency is high, and it can print bar code symbols with high, medium and low densities.
3. Screen printing: can only be used for small batches of bar codes.
4. Plateless printing: This type of printing is mainly non-contact printing, and the bar code anti-counterfeiting effect of this type of printing is very good.
The above is the introduction of the common barcode printing classification and printing principle in the carton custom factory, for reference only.
